Position Requirements:

1. Minimum of 7-10 or more years of previous work experience as a cost controller or similar role.
2. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. or a related field. 
3. Additional qualifications might include an advanced accounting degree (e.g., Master in the related field, Master of Business Administration)
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislation
5. experience with accounting financial statements
6. Good knowledge of accounting software
7. Must be able to travel
8. Display exemplary ethical behavior when working with confidential documents.
9. Effective data trending, document control, and technical skills
10. Awareness of the industry’s latest technology trends and applications
11. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff members.
12. Organizational and leadership skills
13. Advanced experience with ( ERP - Microsoft Excel)
14. Strong problem-solving, training, team-building, and mentoring abilities
15. language skills: English, Kurdish in advance
16. Able to work under pressure or meet tight deadlines

Tasks, responsibilities, and accountabilities

1. Follow up the material flows from the warehouses to the centers and determine the cost
2. Follow up the balances of materials at cost for each store and center
3. Preparing a monthly materials cost report
4. Calculating direct and indirect material costs
5. Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
6. Arranging with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste
7. Document, monitor and update controlling policies
8. Review quarterly and annual budgets for all departments
9. Analyze costs and profits
10. Set and track financial KPIs
11. Build risk assessment models to evaluate investments
12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems
13. Perform internal audits and assist with external audits
