Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the bank's operations comply with relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Develop, update, and communicate internal policies to align with regulatory changes.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Provide guidance and training to bank staff on compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to implement and monitor compliance strategies.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed about emerging compliance issues and promptly address potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Promote and ensure ethical practices, fostering a culture of compliance within the bank.
  • Serve as an advisor to management, providing insights and recommendations on compliance matters.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience
  • Proven experience in leading and managing intricate compliance audits, showcasing leadership in complex regulatory environments.
  • Proficiency in utilizing sophisticated compliance-related software, systems, and tools for intricate monitoring and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
