Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the bank's operations comply with relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Develop, update, and communicate internal policies to align with regulatory changes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance issues.
- Provide guidance and training to bank staff on compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and monitor compliance strategies.
- Identify potential compliance risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay informed about emerging compliance issues and promptly address potential risks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Promote and ensure ethical practices, fostering a culture of compliance within the bank.
- Serve as an advisor to management, providing insights and recommendations on compliance matters.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
- minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience
- Proven experience in leading and managing intricate compliance audits, showcasing leadership in complex regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in utilizing sophisticated compliance-related software, systems, and tools for intricate monitoring and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
