KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management
–Develop and execute the Group's multi-sector investment strategy in line with Board-approved objectives and risk parameters.
–Lead portfolio diversification across energy, oil & gas, real estate, banking, healthcare, agriculture, retail, industrial, and hospitality sectors.
–Evaluate and balance the Group's exposure between high-growth ventures and stable income-generating assets.
–Continuously monitor macroeconomic, financial, and sector-specific trends to identify opportunities and mitigate portfolio risks.
2. Deal Origination, Structuring & Execution
–Source, negotiate, and structure new investment opportunities and strategic partnerships across IVI's operating geographies.
–Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, and rigorous due diligence to ensure sound investment decision-making.

–Lead capital raising and co-investment activities with private investors, banking institutions, and institutional partners.
–Manage mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in coordination with legal, financial, and operational teams.

3. Governance, Risk & Compliance
–Oversee investment governance frameworks ensuring compliance with Group policies, regulatory standards, and ethical codes.
–Establish investment committee processes, approval protocols, and structured reporting mechanisms to the Group CEO and Board.
–Ensure transparent communication and risk-adjusted performance assessment across all assets and subsidiaries.
4. Financial Performance & Reporting
–Monitor and report portfolio performance, return on investment (ROI), and value creation metrics to the CEO and Board.
–Work closely with the Group CFO to align investment strategy with capital structure, liquidity management, and financial targets.
–Oversee performance of portfolio companies and provide strategic guidance for underperforming or restructuring assets.
5. Leadership & Collaboration
–Lead and mentor the Group Investment Department, fostering analytical rigor, commercial discipline, and innovation.
–Collaborate with subsidiary CEOs and sector heads to align strategic initiatives with investment priorities.
–Represent IVI Holding with private investors, financial institutions, sovereign funds, and regulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education: Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. CFA or CPA designation strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 15 years in investment management, corporate finance, or private equity — including at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
Sector Exposure: Demonstrated experience across infrastructure, energy, real estate, and diversified conglomerate environments.
–Proven record of originating, structuring, and closing complex investment transactions in emerging and frontier markets.
–Strong understanding of governance frameworks and investment committee processes in family-to-corporate transition environments.
–Experience operating within Iraq, Jordan, UAE, or broader MENA markets is a significant advantage.
