A leading business transformation company is looking for a successful subject matter expert who has spent a considerable amount of time in this domain and is a champion of that subject. 

He/She should possess extensive expertise, practical experience, and deep business knowledge of their industry’s best practices. This person should be aware of the realities and the environment in which users perform their daily operations. The expert should be able to articulate the concerns and grievances raised by the team in response to changes in processes or technological environment.

This person monitors whether things are going according to plan, verifies that users are getting what was committed, and validates that the implementation meets all the business requirements. Beyond the implementation phase, the expert observes the ongoing business processes, identifies gaps, improves current processes, arranges training for subordinates and gains industry insights on how other companies and competitors are carrying out their operations.

Job duties/accountabilities:

• Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement timelines
• Perform powerful demonstrations and presentations on ERP System.
• Identify and properly define the system characteristics as related to implementation, operational performance, scalability, usability, fit for purpose, and maintenance
• Process harmonization and standardization within respective business domain.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand client’s needs & engage with sales in the field through meetings, presentations and demonstrations.
• Assist functional departments in various projects to improve productivity of business processes
• Identifying the operational difficulties that the staff face in their daily operations.
• Documenting, supervising and monitoring details of AS IS business processes.
• Reviewing TO BE business process documentation and identifying gaps.
• Efficacy of final business process design once approved.
• Ensuring that the processes being implemented are in line with the company’s operations and do not affect other departments’ operations.
• Liaising between users and the implementation team.
• Identifying potential threats and informing all concerned parties in a timely manner.
• Facilitating change management within their team and answering queries/alleviating fears.
• Foreseeing future hurdles and preparing a mitigation strategy.
• Successful implementation of ERP solution with acceptability across all hierarchies.
• Spearhead external training sessions relating to the operation of the ERP platforms.
• Point of contact for clients’ troubleshooting, bug fixes and work-arounds requests.
• Design, educate, advocate and constantly improve best-practices to be used in client settings.
• Continuously research and explore new technologies and industry standards

Essential skills/competencies:

• Strong understanding of all business-related functions including but not limited to accounting, supply chain, inventory management, sales, CRM, human resources, project management etc…
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of professional experience with ERP systems (Odoo, ERPNext, SAP, etc.)
• Detail-oriented, quality mindset, and strong critical thinking skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and orally
• Passion for learning business processes (sales, accounting, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great organizational and time management skills
• Able to work in a rapidly evolving field
• Proven success in project management and software design would be an asset.
• Ability to travel in different regions of the country with no restrictions.
• Multilingualism is an asset.
