Media and Marketing Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop marketing plans and manage the marketing pipeline for the company’s brand name.
- Determine the most effective media outlet combination for marketing strategies.
- Managing calendars:
- Make weekly, monthly, or even bi-annual plans for the media and marketing department and share them with team members.
- Organize and prepare daily tasks for team members.
- Create social media plan:
- Create daily, weekly, monthly, or even bi-annual media plans for all social media platforms and sharing it with all related team members.
- Analyze the analytics of all social media platforms of the company.
- Keep up to date with the planned posts and requirements.
- Frequent observation of all social media posts, including language, images, etc.
- Oversee all editing and proofreading of the social media and website content.
- Provide managerial support to the team:
- Break down projects into numerous, doable tasks and assign them to team members accordingly.
- Monitor the progress of employees’ work performance.
- Approve media designs and social media content ideas.
- Taking part in brainstorming sessions with related team members.
- Measure social media key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend.
- Ensure advertised messages across all media platforms are cohesive.
- Manage and monitor all costs/budget for the company’s marketing and media campaigns.
- Report progress to upper management and other key stakeholders of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent; master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the media and marketing field.
- Fluent in Kurdish and English languages, Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills, MS in particular.
- In-depth understanding of web and marketing analytics.
- Knowledgeable about the current content creation and digital media trends.
- Strong copywriting and analytic skills.
- Excellent command of verbal and written communication.
- Ability to lead and delegate tasks to team members appropriately.
- Highly self-motivated and possesses consistent initiative.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to perform a wide range of tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel outside the city and/or country.
