Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential merchants and partnership opportunities within relevant industries.
- Reach out to prospective merchants and suppliers, presenting the benefits of partnering with the company’s gift card program.
- Assist in the negotiation and onboarding process for new merchant partnerships.
- Maintain and update a database of prospective and existing merchant partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and activation of partnerships.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and partnership performance metrics.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and partnership agreements.
- Act as a point of contact for merchants, addressing queries and ensuring a smooth partnership experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles, preferably in the gift cards, retail, or e-commerce industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent organizational and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
