1- Recruit, screen, and onboard qualified logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) based on skillset and project requirements.
2- Develop and maintain a comprehensive driver database to ensure efficient staffing for deliveries.
3- Oversee logistics operations, including scheduling, route optimization, and dispatching of drivers.
4- Actively participate in defining strategic and operational objectives for the department.
5- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth product handoff and on-time deliveries.
6- Develop and maintain project plans for shipments, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
7- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Smart Sheet) to track progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
1-3 years of previous experience in operations department.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet software) and project management tools (e.g., Smart Sheet).
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a strong plus.
