- Lead the GL Control team and liaise with internal/external stakeholders
- Authorize additions/ deletions and changes to the GL accounts in all the systems.
- Ensure all values created in category segment are aligned with IFRS for classification and presentation in liaison with the Statutory and Regulatory Reporting.
- Ensure that all the GL accounts are correctly mapped to the relevant products and services.
- Lead the review of CoA of all the systems is carried out.
- Supervise the review of periodic system ledgers and sub-ledgers reconciliations.
- Ensure the IT/FD Log Register is reviewed and updated on a timely basis.
- Ensure the GL pre-closure and post-closure activities are effectively performed.
- Ensure all requirements are provided on a timely basis.
- "100 % submissions of RCSAs with adequate level of Quality"
- 100 % submissions of Change documents with stakeholders (mandatory and relevant) and ORM for review.
- 100 % submissions of KPIs and completion of yearly KPIs refresh exercise with adequate level of Quality
- Timely completion of incident investigations with appropriate quality.
- Timely management of issues and action plans with appropriate evidencing
- Ensure compliance to BCM policy and Crisis Management framework
- Implementation of Compliance and Fraud Risk management framework, programs and related tools.
requirements:
- A total functionally relevant experience of 8 years or more
- A total of 10 years’ experience or more
- Bachelor Degree
- Preferable Master Degree
- Professional qualification is an advantage
