SALES MANAGEMENT

 

  1. Realizing and exceeding the Sales Target set by the Retail Department.
  2. Continually exploring new areas of development to improve sales and contribution
  3. Taking action in areas of responsibility in line with company strategies in order to achieve and 

exceed the KPI’s.

  1. Making monthly or desired sales and target forecasts by reviewing sales and market potential.
  2. Reviewing sales/stock and profit reports on a weekly basis, together with the 

Store Management staff, by identifying all negative factors affecting sales/profit in the store 

and determining/performing actions to improve weaknesses.

  1. Making the best use of the potential by ensuring that the store is fully prepared 

according to the checklist for special days and periods.

  1. Ensuring that the rules and instructions regarding the price and product strategies of the 

company are implemented in the stores.

  1. Ensuring that store personnel comply with all sales rules set by the company.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE

 

  1. Providing customer service.
  2. Ensuring the highest possible customer service and employee compliance in the store to 

optimize sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.

  1. Ensuring that customer service is the main focus in the store. Providing courteous and 

helpful service and support to customers

  1. Monitoring employees' communication with customers during the sales service, 

reporting deficiencies in the cash registers.

  1. Dealing effectively with customer complaints and provide appropirate solution.
  2. Preventing any situation that may harm the brand image
  3. Protecting the brand value.

GENERAL STORE OPERATIONS

  1. Ensuring that warehouse acceptance, transfers and seasonal returns processes are carried out properly at the times determined by the center.
  2. Monitoring all operational processes in the store, ensuring that they are efficient and in compliance with company rules.
  3. Anticipating problems that may occur in stores and discussing solutions with a senior manager
  4. Dealing with the IT problems, forwarding them to a senior manager when a solution 

cannot be provided.

  1. Ensuring that all necessary materials are available in sufficient quantities and ordering the consumables and equipments on time
  2. Ensuring that all financial and official transactions in the store are carried out in accordance with laws and procedures, checking and approving cash registers, cash register minutes and invoices/waybills
  3. Following opening and closing time of the store and at the times determined by the operation department.
  4. Ensuring that the store is opened for the day / ready for sale.

TEAM AND STAFF MANAGEMENT

  1. Ensuring that the personnel under his/her responsibility comply with the policies and procedures determined by the retail management.
  2. Communicating with the Human Resources Department of the Headquarters in the implementation of disciplinary and complaint procedures.
  3. Ensuring that all subordinates are fully aware of their job responsibilities within the framework of the rules in their job descriptions.
  4. Ensuring that all legal personnel notifications made by the company are placed on the bulletin board and keeping properly.
  5. Ensuring that the outfits of the employees is at the highest level.
  6. Ensuring the management of annual leave and overtime leave of the store personnel according to company rules and legal requirements.
  7. Following and protecting the legal, ethical and employee rights of his/her team.
  8. Planning recruitment process by anticipating future staffing needs.
  9. Supporting and encouraging employees who meet the required standard and want to work in other departments.
  10. Taking the necessary actions to keep the personnel turnover rate low.
  11. Negotiating and finalizing low-performing personnel in accordance with positive and constructive HR rules.
  12. Ensure all store teams are aware of important HR policy regulations.

EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT

  1. Identifying areas of development by informing team members with high potential and supporting their career development.
  2. Requesting training in line with the development areas of the team members, monitoring the results.
  3. Ensuring participation in all trainings.
  4. Coaching to ensure the commitment and effective development of high-potential staff/sub-managers.
  5. Evaluating Manager Candidates (MT) within the determined training programs and supporting their development.

LOGISTICS

  1. Determining the storage needs of the store and ensuring the efficient use of warehouse areas.
  2. Managing all cargo-related processes to ensure a healthy delivery process
  3. Following the process for the follow-up of the entire shipment plan of the store and its timely purchase

GROWTH AND SHOP DEVELOPMENT

  1. Identifying all potential stores for growth and relocation and sharing them with a senior manager.
  2. Positive relationships with property owners and/or Shopping Center managers.
  3. Searching for new investment opportunities in existing stores in order to increase performance, presenting cost/efficiency suggestions to the top manager.

CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

  1. Performing regular and thorough checks to ensure that the indoor and outdoor areas of the store are cleaned regularly and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  2. Determining the maintenance, technical, equipment and goods needs of the store and presenting 

them to a senior manager.

  1. Controlling the construction and technical processes before and after the new store openings, eliminating the deficiencies.
  2. Taking action to develop more effective processes for resolving construction and technical issues in its store.

MARKETING

  1. Execution of campaigns, promotion and advertising activities and evaluation of their success.
  2. Determination of rentable/free areas in shopping centers and taking action for rental
  3. Determining the suitable advertisement areas in the places where the stores are located and sharing them with the marketing unit.

VISUAL STORAGE

  1. Ensuring that the weekly updates published by the visual communication department are 
  2. completed on time.
  3. Ensuring the compliance of the store with the determined store layout
  4. Ensuring compliance with in-store and window visual standards and rules.
  5. Ensuring correct price communication after all visual editing and price changes.
  6. Identifying visual development areas and sharing them with a senior manager.
  7. Identifying high potential sales personnel who can be directed to the Visual Merchandising field.
  8. Determining the training needs of store employees regarding Visual Merchandising, providing them 

with the necessary support.

  1. Ensuring that store visual personnel work only in their own visual responsibility areas.
  2. Ensuring the use of correct and high standard visual orientation areas.
  3. Ensuring that hangers, labels and other visual materials are used correctly.

PRODUCT AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

  1. Ensuring that the store is always at the right capacity and occupancy.
  2. Ensuring that the store project is correct and up-to-date.
  3. Taking measures to create/improve performance by reviewing standard sales/stock data reports.
  4. Reviewing the season's best-selling products and providing feedback to product teams 

to find them in stores

  1. Ensuring that the discount labels in the stores are made completely and on time.
  2. Ensuring that the new product is exhibited in the stores as quickly as possible and that the replenishment is completed.

FINANCE AND COST MANAGEMENT

  1. Efficient management of expenses in line with operating expense targets by examining all expenditure details of the store
  2. Regular and timely closing of the store's advance requests and closings
  3. Achieving the sales, personnel and operating expense targets of the store.
  4. Constantly seeking opportunities and providing feedback to improve cost effectiveness without compromising brand image and standards.,
  5. Ensuring that the invoices of the store are delivered to the accounting unit in accordance with the 

company rules.

LEGAL MANAGEMENT

  1. To contact the relevant department by informing a top manager of any legal problem related 

to the store.

  1. Ensuring that all legal regulations are carried out properly during store openings.
  2. Timely submission of all correspondence, audit and control reports from government institutions to

the General Directorate in order to prevent any problems that the company may encounter.

  1. Informing the team about not making and signing any statement without notifying the 

General Directorate.

ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS, AUDIT AND SECURITY

  1. Taking measures regarding the safety of life and property of the store, customer and personnel, controlling the fixtures, ensuring the safety of machinery and equipment in the area of responsibility, and the confidentiality of information and documents.
  2. Developing and implementing internal controls and processes to keep stock losses at a minimum.
  3. Working with the security unit, central management and external authorities (if any) to support and
  4. report internal and external audits.
  5. Ensuring that the highest level of security systems are installed in the store. 
  6. Checking that appropriate actions are taken for defective products.
  7. Raising awareness of management teams about what needs to be done in an emergency.
  8. Identifying all risks related to customer profile and location, working with Central Loss Prevention to reduce potential losses.
  9. Monitoring the stock loss results of the store, taking action if the results are above the target
  10. Ensuring that the store is managed in accordance with the inspection criteria.
  11. Reviewing the inspection reports of the store, initiating activities in areas that need improvement.
  12. Watch out for any potential or suspected theft/fraud and forward it to the loss prevention unit for investigation in case of any possible occurrence.

COMMUNICATION

  1. Maintaining regular communication with superiors and subordinates. Informing senior managers about all situations that will benefit or affect the company.
  2. Informing the team about company performance, new initiatives and other relevant issues.
  3. Participating meeting organized by Retail Department and Headquarters.
  4. Communicate with staff by creating a culture of open communication to see if there is any situation 

that disturbs the peace or motivation.

  1. Ensuring that all experts working in the same region but under different managers are in effective communication with each other.
  2. Making sure that the topics shared by Mağazacılık İletişim are read and action is taken on time.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Native plus English).
  • Working days 6 days per week.
  • Working time according to the weekly schedule.
  • Annual leave according to the Iraqi labor law.
  • Only Iraq nationality.
