Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Leadership (Core Focus)
* Serve as the lead technical subject matter expert (SME) for all sales engagements, overseeing the design and technical validation of high-density colocation, complex interconnection, and managed services proposals.
* Translate complex customer requirements (e.g., power density, security posture, network latency) into validated, scalable, and cost-effective data center solutions within our facility.
* Lead technical presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations for customer engineering and IT leadership teams, clearly articulating the technical advantages and reliability of our infrastructure.
* Own the technical scope and accuracy of Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring seamless handover to the Operations and Engineering teams post-sale.
Sales Enablement and Strategy
* Partner with the Sales Manager to define target accounts and develop technical selling strategies focused on key industry verticals (e.g., finance, government, cloud providers).
* Drive technical engagement throughout the sales pipeline, speeding up the technical evaluation and approval phases of large, complex deals.
* Develop compelling Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) models based on technical specifications and customer pain points.
* Mentor and train the broader sales team on new data center products, technical capabilities, and competitor offerings.
Market Intelligence and Feedback
* Maintain expert-level knowledge of data center physical infrastructure, network topology, cloud architectures, and the local competitive landscape in Iraq.
* Collect and consolidate critical technical market feedback from customer interactions to inform product development, engineering, and capacity planning decisions.
* Ensure all proposed solutions meet local regulatory and compliance standards in the Iraqi market.
