Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Transactions:
    • Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and transfers accurately.
    • Assist with other transactions such as issuing cashier's checks and money orders.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Answer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
  3. Cash Handling:
    • Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
    • Ensure the cash drawer is balanced and report any discrepancies.
  4. Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate transaction records and update customer account information.
    • Follow proper filing and documentation procedures.
  5. Compliance:
    • Adhere to all banking regulations and internal policies.
    • Follow security protocols to protect customers and the bank from fraud.
  6. Cross-Selling:
    • Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell banking products.
    • Encourage customers to explore additional services offered by the bank.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
    • Provide support during peak times or as needed.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and communication skills.
  • Previous experience (0-2) in cash handling or customer service is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of basic banking products and services.
