Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Transactions:
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and transfers accurately.
- Assist with other transactions such as issuing cashier's checks and money orders.
- Customer Service:
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
- Cash Handling:
- Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure the cash drawer is balanced and report any discrepancies.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate transaction records and update customer account information.
- Follow proper filing and documentation procedures.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to all banking regulations and internal policies.
- Follow security protocols to protect customers and the bank from fraud.
- Cross-Selling:
- Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell banking products.
- Encourage customers to explore additional services offered by the bank.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- Provide support during peak times or as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and communication skills.
- Previous experience (0-2) in cash handling or customer service is beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic banking products and services.
