Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for the bank.
- Record daily financial transactions and verify their accuracy.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting:
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and ensure timely collections.
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Audit Support:
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-0 years) in a Previous experience in accounting, especially in a banking setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
