Job Summary
The SAP Application & Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the SAP landscape, ensuring system stability, performance, security, and alignment with business requirements. The role will work closely with business users, implementation partners, and third-party vendors to support SAP S/4HANA and related SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
SAP System Support
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP applications and business users.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate issue resolution with SAP partners and support providers.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and system enhancements.
Business Process Support
- Support business users across Finance, Procurement, Real Estate, HR, and other functional areas.
- Analyze business requirements and coordinate implementation of approved changes.
- Participate in testing activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Integration Management
- Monitor integrations between SAP and external systems.
- Coordinate troubleshooting of interface issues.
- Support data validation and reconciliation activities.
Security & Access Management
- Manage user access requests and role assignments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and segregation of duties requirements.
- Support periodic access reviews and audits.
Project & Change Management
- Support SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
- Coordinate with vendors on system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and support procedures.
Reporting & Documentation
- Support development and maintenance of SAP reports and dashboards.
- Prepare system documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience supporting SAP environments.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Experience working with SAP implementation partners and support vendors.
