- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record and classify daily financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and invoices.
- General Ledger Maintenance:
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Generate periodic financial reports and analysis for management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and practices.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Other Duties:
- Support other financial and administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
