Key Responsibilities:

  1. POS System Monitoring:
    • Monitor the performance and reliability of Point of Sale systems used by the bank.
    • Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure that POS terminals are functioning correctly and securely.
    • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to POS hardware or software.
  2. Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes for POS services, including transaction monitoring and error resolution.
    • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service delivery.
    • Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to implement improvements and enhancements to POS systems.
  3. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to POS operations.
    • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in POS systems.
    • Implement controls and measures to mitigate risks associated with POS transactions.
  4. Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to branch staff and customers on POS operations and troubleshooting.
    • Develop training materials and documentation for POS system usage and best practices.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on POS technology and functionality.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate reports and analytics on POS performance, transaction volumes, and error rates.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to management for process optimization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in POS management, quality assurance, or banking operations.
  • Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of POS systems and transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards applicable to POS operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
