Position Purpose:

Operate a packing machine (Haver & Boecker) with safe, high performance and good rehabilitates.     

Position Accountabilities:

•         Handle start up and shut down duties pertaining to packing equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.

•         Make certain that each packing machine is in good repair and works in accordance with regulations set by the company.

•         Responsible for packing quality.

•         Monitor correct product weights and ensure that they are maintained throughout the shift.

•         Educate workers on exercising caution to avoid accidents and prevent injuries.

•         Maintain a clean and orderly work area by ensuring that floors are clean and organized appropriately.

•         Assist in developing SOPs. 

•         Create daily reports regarding packing products and silo level and delivery time.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

Qualification

•         Bachelor in Chemical Engineer 

•          Knowledge how to operate packing machine (Haver & Boecker) and use the computer.

Experience

•         2 years of operating packing machine or control room of cement plant. 

Skills

•         Customer relation skills

•         Communication skills

•         People management skills

•         Ability to work as a part of the team

•         Knowledge of the cement process

•         Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

•         Good level in the English language 

•         Computer skills (MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook).
