Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement the bank’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Identify and recommend technological advancements to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
2. System Management:
• Oversee the management, maintenance, and upgrade of banking software, hardware, and networks.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of core banking systems and digital platforms.
• Monitor and manage the performance of IT infrastructure to meet the bank’s needs.
3. Cybersecurity and Compliance:
• Develop and enforce IT security policies to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including those specific to Islamic banking.
• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
• Manage relationships with external IT service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business needs.
6. Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
7. User Support:
• Oversee IT support services to resolve user issues promptly and effectively.
• Implement training programs to enhance staff proficiency in using IT systems.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in banking software, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and network administration.
• Soft Skills:
• Leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
