Dar Kurd Group is looking to hire a talented and ambitious candidate to its team in the following department:

Architect – Interior Designer

Summary:

The job of the interior designer is a fulltime, salaried position that will oversee the needs of Dar Kurd projects in the Kurdistan region. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious interior designer who will be responsible for the following tasks; preparing plans, developing designs, surveying sites, and estimating costs for construction projects utilizing related software applications and engineering software programs. 

Job purpose:

Designing and documenting architectural projects based on the requirements and program. 

Job duties and responsibilities

• Receive project requests or draft designs
• Meet customers and defines the project requirements
• Take location measurement / site survey
• Utilize necessary physical and digital tools to create initial drafts
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure accuracy of early design work
• Finalize drafting projects using both 2D and 3D sketching and BOQ
• Revisit designs and make adjustments to designs as needed and follow up with the site engineer
• communicate with various departments to coordinate project details
• preparing detailed drawings/material list/staff allocation/schedule after finalizing design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architect engineering, construction any related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency AutoCAD, 3ds max (or similar 3D modeling program), a rendering engine, and Adobe Suite. Knowledge in Revit is a bonus.
• Outstanding analytical and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and negotiation skills
• Knowledge in construction and design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office.
