We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant with 3–5 years of accounting and finance experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily cash transactions, performing bank reconciliations, recording accounting entries, and supporting the overall finance function. The candidate must have practical experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo ERP.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and post daily accounting transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger records.
• Manage daily cash movements and ensure proper recording of all cash transactions.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and investigate any discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly and periodic bank reconciliations.
• Monitor cash balances and prepare cash reports as required.
• Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules as requested by management.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and documentation.
• Assist in audits and provide required supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience working with ERP systems; Odoo ERP experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in cash management, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English language proficiency is preferred.
