Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records for the construction group, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and project-based accounting.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Ensure proper allocation of costs to individual construction projects and track project budgets.

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions.

Monitor cash flow and manage invoices, payments, and collections.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Coordinate with external auditors and assist in internal audits as required.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or related industries.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, project accounting, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

Understanding of construction contracts, cost tracking, and budgeting is an advantage.
