We are hiring in one of our companies in Iraq, Al-Usool General Trading Company Ltd.

Job title: Accountant 
Job Purpose:
Assist senior management in making critical business decisions by analyzing and presenting key financial data. You will oversee accounting procedures and prepare forecasts, budgets, and risk analyses.

Responsibilities & Duties:
● Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
● Analyze budgets and create expense reports.
● Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities, and expenses).
● Monthly Closing of the accounting transaction procedures.
● Cash flow follow-up.
● Preparation of Financial statement.
● Preparing bills receivable, invoices, and bank deposits.
● Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
● Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
● Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
● Coordinate and assist with audits.
● Utilize financial systems and software effectively.
● Adhere to accounting principles and ethical guidelines.
● Stay updated on accounting principles and industry trends.
● Continuous professional development.

Requirements & Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 2-3 Three years’ experience in the Accounting field.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial analysis.
● Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
● Fluent in Arabic, and English.
