Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Group’s overall Human Capital and organizational strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead HR operations across multiple subsidiaries and sectors within the group structure.
  • Drive organizational transformation and change management initiatives to support business growth and modernization.
  • Establish and strengthen corporate governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and HR best practices across the organization.
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Build and enhance performance management systems, compensation structures, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive management and board stakeholders on all people-related matters.
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies for executive and critical business positions.
  • Ensure compliance with Iraqi labor laws and applicable regulations across all operations.
  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Lead HR digital transformation initiatives, including HRIS development and process optimization.
  • Manage organizational restructuring, culture transformation, and post-merger integration activities when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior executive HR roles.
  • Extensive experience within large and diversified groups of companies operating across multiple industries.
  • Strong exposure to complex organizational structures and diversified business environments.
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership capabilities with strong change management expertise.
  • Deep understanding of the Iraqi market, labor environment, and business culture.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Experience in developing scalable HR systems, policies, and organizational frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
