Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To support drilling and workover operations by performing rig floor activities, handling equipment and tubulars, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring compliance with company QHSE, IMS, and ISO/API standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with rig floor operations, including handling drill pipe, casing, and other tubulars during drilling and tripping activities.
• Operate rig floor equipment such as tongs, slips, and elevators under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on the rig floor, pipe deck, and work areas.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain tools and rig equipment, reporting defects or unsafe conditions.
• Participate in Toolbox Talks, safety meetings, drills, and emergency response activities.
• Support well control operations, equipment inspections, and other operational tasks as directed.
• Follow all PPE, JSA, PTW, and safety requirements.

Authority

• Stop any unsafe work or activity that poses a risk to personnel, equipment, or the environment and immediately report it to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications in Basic Well Control Awareness, H2S, First Aid/CPR, Fire Fighting, Rigging & Lifting, and Confined Space Awareness.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Floorman/Roughneck in drilling or workover operations.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in demanding field conditions.
• Basic English required; Arabic preferred.
