1. Strategic Operations Leadership
–Translate Group strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable KPIs across all sectors and subsidiaries.
–Oversee day-to-day business operations, ensuring performance, productivity, and sustained alignment with Group strategy.
–Drive the execution of transformation programs, corporate governance implementation, and process reengineering initiatives.
–Serve as the CEO's principal deputy for operational and performance oversight across all Group entities.
2. Governance, Controls & Risk Management
–Establish Group-level standard operating procedures, operational manuals, and performance governance frameworks.
–Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
–Monitor operational risk and performance, escalating material issues and recommending timely corrective measures.
–Support the CEO in Board reporting, operational audits, and control system enhancement initiatives.
3. Performance Management & Efficiency
–Implement a Group-wide performance measurement system integrating financial and operational KPIs at all levels.
–Lead continuous improvement initiatives and shared-service efficiency programs across the Group.
–Standardize procurement, logistics, and project management processes across all subsidiaries.
–Foster operational discipline, cost optimization, and asset utilization efficiency throughout the portfolio.
4. Integration & Synergy Management
–Align subsidiary operations under unified Group policies and shared-service delivery platforms.
–Promote inter-company collaboration to leverage scale, shared resources, and supply chain integration opportunities.
–Ensure seamless coordination between Finance, HR, IT, and Project Management functions across the Group.
5. Leadership & People Development
–Mentor subsidiary COOs and operational heads to enhance management depth and embed a high-performance culture.
–Foster cross-functional collaboration, accountability, and clear communication at all operational levels.
–Drive succession planning and structured leadership development within operational functions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
Experience: Minimum 15 years in operational leadership, including at least 5 years in an executive Group-level role.
–Proven track record in diversified conglomerates or large-scale industrial and multi-sector projects.
–Strong understanding of process optimization, project management, and corporate governance frameworks.
–Experience with operational transformation and ERP-driven process standardization.
–Familiarity with operating environments across Iraq, Jordan, UAE, or the broader MENA region is advantageous.
