Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on computers and peripherals such as printing machines, imaging machines, and personalization printing machines, to ensure that they are in good working condition and to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software problems on personalization printing machines.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and installations of equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and ensure that they are available when needed.
• Train production staff on the proper operation and maintenance of personalization printing machines.
• Monitor and evaluate equipment performance to ensure that it meets production requirements and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and records for personalization printing machines

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with RFID, EMV, and magnetic stripe technology is a plus.
• Basic Knowledge Network devices and protocols is a plus.
• Basic Knowledge in troubleshooting workstations, servers, SAN storage, tape library and backup solutions.
• Basic Knowledge in MS SQL and Oracle Database is a plus.
• Basic Knowledge in MS windows client and MS windows server is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering , Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining personalization printing machines or similar.

Languages

Arabic, and English.
