• Provide generic or specific financial planning, budgeting, and control functions.
• Perform financial and accounting functions, including record keeping and reporting.
• Review financial policies, procedures, and processes and recommend improvements.
• Plan and coordinate the training of staff in financial and general office activities.
• Prepare and develop integrated financial analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
• Prepare and evaluate financial statements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure financial information is recorded accurately.
• Develop file and record keeping of the department and ensure box files of the department that include hard copies of decrees, agreements, invoices, etc., are updated and arranged on time.
• Verify and report details of financial transactions of the company.
• Ensure financial details are recorded in an appropriate and easily accessible manner.
• Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness.
• Ensure financial and accounting reports are prepared in accordance to financial rules and regulations.
• Generate financial transaction records for collections, invoices, payments, expenses, revenues, etc.
• Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Manage payroll processing system.
• Be highly involved in knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
• Provide guidance to team members and management on financial matters.
• Advise and support the team members in all areas of responsibility.
• Develop corrective financial action plans and perform financial compliance and procedural audits.
• Process invoices by coding, matching purchase orders, and logging invoices.
• Participate in maintaining and ensuring the effectiveness of the used financial systems and its scrutiny.
• Implement financial policies and procedures and make sure they are followed.
• Be involved in improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Consider KRG financial reports and statements and make sure that they are provided in a timely manner.
• Provide advice and guidance to team members and other staff members regarding policy and procedures, audit administration, financial performance monitoring, etc.
• Be involved in the preparation, control, monitoring, revision, and auditing of the payroll and participate in ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, including identifying errors and proactively correcting these in a timely way.
• Provide required information and guidance in the processes of budget and developmental planning of the Department and the company.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the nature of the post.
