Responsibilities :
Establishing the company HR policy in line with the IRAQI Labour law for IRAQ employees and with UAE Law for the staff in UAE.
Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department within the given timeline by management.
Responsible to ensure the legal status of the employees (Kafala, contract, badges, passports, legal documents, health cards, .etc.).
Prepare and Handle the Payroll, Compensation and Benefits.
Prepare the pay slips for the employees.
Manage the leave balance record for the employees
Coordinate and participate in the daily or weekly meeting for the legal tasks with the lawyer.
Meeting staff and discuss their performance when it is required by line managers.
Ensure the staff is following the company policy with regards to their uniforms and the office staff to follow the dress code.
Maintain a daily/weekly communications and check with the administration department for legal documents expiration.
Maintain a Performance Evaluation and recommendation to management for staff on due dates as per the company policy
Manpower Planning and HR Budgeting
Manpower forecasting for business and departmental expansion
Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
Creating and revising job descriptions
In charge of the full recruitment cycle (including writing and placing job ads)
Shortlisting applicants for interview using a variety of selection techniques
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Counsel hiring managers on candidate selection
Prepare job offers & employment contract
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs within the human resources department
Organize a comprehensive new employee orientation and engage new staff onboarding
Developing, revising, and recommending HR policies and procedures
Interpretation and implementation of HR Policies and Procedures
Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
Employee and Department transformation
Review employees time attendance on monthly basis
Organizational Planning and Development
Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data to the management
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Maintaining department records and reports
Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations
Keep records of benefits plans and participation in such as insurance and pension plan, new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
Supervise with the admin manager the lawyer daily tasks
Handles employee social security files and payments
Handles employee TAX files and payments
Report to management and use HR indicators to assist in decision-making
Interview and selection as per ISO, but not limited
Follow ISO Process
Requirements:
Total of 10 years or more in human resources including 5 years or more as HR manager.
Advanced level computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, electronic mail and calendar systems, and ability to do research using online resources
GCC experience is a plus
A good and developed communicator with highly developed leadership capabilities
Must have strong relationship building skills
Fluent English – Arabic is a plus
An ambitious personality with a strong drive and track-record of success
Ability to use excellent judgment and exercise discretion in carrying out duties related to confidential matters. Confidentiality and discretion required.
