Key Responsibilities
1.
Client Relationship Management
o
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential corporate clients.
o
Act as the primary point of contact for corporate customers, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
o
Understand clients' business operations, financial needs, and industry challenges to provide tailored solutions.
2.
Business Development
o
Identify and acquire new corporate clients to grow the bank’s portfolio.
o
Cross-sell banking products and services, including loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
o
Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
3.
KYC Checking and Filing
o
Ensure all Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation is collected, verified, and filed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
o
Conduct periodic reviews of corporate clients’ KYC files to ensure accuracy and completeness.

o
Liaise with compliance and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely updates.

4.
International Remittances
o
Identify opportunities to generate international remittance transactions from corporate clients.
o
Promote the bank's remittance services and work with clients to facilitate inbound and outbound international money transfers.
o
Develop relationships with key corporate clients requiring remittance solutions and ensure smooth processing of their transactions.
o
Monitor and track the performance of remittance services and provide insights to improve service delivery.

5.
Managing Corporate Team in Northern Region
o
Lead, manage, and oversee the corporate team in the northern region.
o
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to achieve corporate banking objectives.
o
Ensure team alignment with the bank’s strategic goals and performance targets.
o
Regularly evaluate team performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity.

6.
Credit Analysis and Risk Management
o
Evaluate and analyze creditworthiness and financial statements of corporate clients.
o
Prepare credit proposals, ensuring they meet the bank's risk management policies and standards.
o
Monitor clients' financial performance and mitigate risks proactively.
7.
Compliance and Reporting
o
Ensure all transactions and client activities comply with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
o
Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, client activity, and market trends.

8.
Market and Industry Knowledge
o
Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitive activities.

o
Provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders on potential risks and opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
Education:
•
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience:
•
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, or a similar role.
•
Experience in managing and leading teams is highly desirable.
