Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all daily operations of the main branch, including cash operations, customer service, and back-office functions.
• Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing team of employees to achieve branch goals.
• Drive business growth by developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, businesses, and the local community.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve client issues efficiently and professionally.
• Monitor branch performance metrics, including deposits, loans, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with the Central Bank of Iraq regulations, internal policies, and anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments (risk, compliance, credit, etc.) to support seamless banking services.
• Develop marketing and outreach plans to promote bank products and services.
• Manage and minimize operational risks, ensure strong internal controls, and maintain accurate reporting.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to improve team capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Deep understanding of banking operations, credit products, customer service, and local market dynamics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong knowledge of Iraqi banking regulations and compliance standards.
• High integrity and professional conduct, with strong decision-making abilities.
