a. Host/ hostess must present him/herself well- smile, clean uniform, communicate well with customers
b. Must be able to take orders correctly and repeat to each customer for accuracy
c. Keep dining and counter areas clean. Removing dishes after each meal and cleaning the tables for new guests.
d. Must know the menu extremely well and know what each dish entails
e. Must pack to-go dishes and carry dishes to corresponding tables
f. Assist with inventory and other duties assigned by the manager and as needed
g. Ensure dining area trash cans are checked and emptied once full.
h. Restock beverages as needed
i. Be able to conduct a hand off to the second shift.
j. Work as a team to ensure the restaurant succeeds
k. Assist with daily inventory.
l. Ensure each packaged food is tagged and labeled with the correct expiration dates.
m. May be expected to assist with checking freshness of food and discarding out-of-date items
n. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
o. Ensure the dining area is kept in a sanitary manner at all times
p. Ensure dining area is cleaned at the end of your shift and trash is discarded at end of shift and prior to closing.
q. Excellent time management abilities.
r. Paid vacation after six complete months of employment.
s. Bonus after one year of employment
t. Position requires you to live in the location and return home every six months. Housing accommodations, transportation and meals provided.
