Role Overview

The Site Medic provides emergency medical care, occupational health support, and health promotion for personnel on site. The role supports workforce wellbeing, emergency preparedness, and compliance with company HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the site clinic and medical supplies.
• Provide emergency treatment, first aid, and medical assessments.
• Maintain confidential medical records and fitness-for-work documentation.
• Monitor occupational health programs and workforce wellbeing.
• Conduct First Aid, CPR, and emergency response training.
• Participate in emergency response activities and coordinate medical evacuations when required.
• Support incident investigations and maintain medical reports.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste.

Authority

• Provide medical care within professional certification and scope of practice.
• Recommend fitness-for-work restrictions and medical evacuation.
• Stop work in situations posing an immediate health risk.
• Report medical incidents and health concerns to site management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Nursing, Paramedicine, or a related medical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant clinical or industrial medical experience.
• Valid professional license and current First Aid/CPR certification.
• H2S and Basic Firefighting certifications are preferred.
• Good English communication and computer skills.
