Purpose of the Position:
UI/UX designers create and iterate end to end user experiences. UI/UX Designers are generally responsible for collecting, researching, investigating and evaluating user requirements. Their responsibility is to deliver an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design. As a UI/UX designer, you will be designing ideas using various methods and latest technology. You will be designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, forms, and widgets and create visually delightful and easy-to-use digital products in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Optimize existing user interface designs
- Test for intuitively and experience
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
- Test new ideas before implementing
- Conduct an ongoing user research
- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
- Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
- Responsible for overall websites and mobile apps UI/UX designs and coordinate execution
- Development and monitoring of all Brands and websites and mobile apps
- Responsible for Reporting of all marketing digital channels
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Design, Engineering or in relevant field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to discuss and explain design options
- Problem solver and customer-centered
- Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
- You have prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
- You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), Acrobat and Dreamweaver
- You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
- You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
- You are a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
