Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Group’s overall technology and digital transformation strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee all IT operations, infrastructure, systems architecture, and enterprise applications across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Lead large-scale digital transformation programs, including ERP implementation, system integration, and automation initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, and technology standards across the Group.
  • Drive innovation through digital solutions, data analytics, AI adoption, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security across all business units.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify technology-driven opportunities for operational efficiency and business growth.
  • Oversee IT budgeting, vendor management, procurement, and technology investment planning.
  • Lead enterprise architecture design and ensure seamless integration across platforms and subsidiaries.
  • Manage cybersecurity strategy, risk mitigation, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Build and lead high-performing IT teams and develop internal technology capabilities.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and business integration from a technology perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant technology, data protection, and regulatory requirements in Iraq.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior executive-level roles.
  • Extensive experience within large and diversified groups of companies operating across multiple industries.
  • Strong exposure to complex enterprise environments and multi-subsidiary structures.
  • Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, and enterprise system modernization.
  • Strong strategic leadership capabilities with deep change management expertise.
  • Deep understanding of the Iraqi market and regional technology landscape.
  • Strong experience in cybersecurity, IT governance, infrastructure management, and enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
