Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Group’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Manage all financial operations across multiple subsidiaries and business sectors within the Group.
• Drive financial transformation initiatives, governance frameworks, and process optimization across the organization.
• Establish and strengthen financial controls, compliance procedures, and risk management frameworks.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
• Lead treasury management, cash flow optimization, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and business expansion initiatives.
• Develop financial models, business performance metrics, and strategic analysis to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Iraqi financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.
• Lead ERP and financial systems enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Build and develop high-performing finance teams across the Group.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including executive-level financial management roles.
• Extensive experience within large and diversified groups of companies operating across multiple industries.
• Strong exposure to complex organizational structures and diversified business environments.
• Deep understanding of the Iraqi market, financial landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Strong experience in corporate finance, treasury, budgeting, financial planning, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
