Job Description

The International School of Choueifat – Erbil is looking to find a dedicated teacher for the position of Kindergarten Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for the day-to-day teaching of their students and following up with their progress all while following the SABIS system. 

Brief Job description:

• Teaching using the SABIS system of instructions and lesson plans provided for each subject
• Preparation of lesson plans for each lesson as instructed
• Marking of assessments
• Discussing any disciplinary and student performance issues with line manager as needed
• Providing support by invigilating exams as needed
• Providing support to all students in order to achieve their best academic performance
• Ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment for all students
• Preparing students for school concerts 
• Assisting in other departments where necessary

Ideal Requirements:

• Must be a first language English speaker
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Previous and proven experience with teaching children
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within a team
