This position is responsible for advanced tasks related to system administration, servers' maintenance, conduct advanced troubleshooting, working with complex distributed systems and storages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and deploy various solutions and systems based on business needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
- Troubleshoot complex and advanced issues.
- Ensure the security of all data, resident on the servers.
- Plan for deployments or upgrades, recommend and configure various systems (Virtualization clusters, Hype converged systems, VoIP systems).
- Design, install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot for core systems including but not limited to: (Identity Management Systems, Storage arrays and clusters, Network monitoring systems, PBX, Web servers, Load Balancers, Backup and Data protection software, DNS, and NTP).
- Test and implement systems including security patches, routine upgrades, and configuration changes. This includes testing and validation in development and quality environments prior to implementation on actual production systems.
- Contact vendors and support providers through ticket systems, email, or phone to solve issues and bugs.
- Maintain Security, Backup, and Redundancy strategies.
- Apply and ensure the PCI-DSS on the CHD environment
- Apply patches and updates on various systems.
- Perform various administration tasks in (VMWare, OLVM).
- Write technical guides and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Oracle WebLogic, IIS, Nginx, and Apache
- Deploy and maintain the availability of highly complex systems (Virtualization, Storage arrays, and clusters).
- Experience in Virtualization, Monitoring systems, Windows Server clustering, DNS, and File sharing "SMB" configuration.
- Deep understanding in Storage systems (NAS, SAN, iSCSI, RAID).
- VMWare ESXi installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- OLVM installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related fields or equivalent.
- Knowledge and familiarity with PCI-DSS standard
- One of the following certificates: RHCSA, MCSA (Any of these certificates will be a Plus).
3 years’ experience in handling IT systems and processes
Working hours: Full time, 8:00am – 4:30 pm
Working days: Saturday –Thursday
Salary range: 2.5 – 3.5 million IQD
