Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Guarantee strict adherence to banking regulations, data protection laws, and industry-specific compliance standards within the IT domain.
• Develop, review, and update IT policies and procedures to reflect the evolving regulatory landscape and ensure alignment with banking industry requirements.
• Lead or participate in IT compliance audits, evaluating controls and processes to uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
• Design and deliver targeted training programs to enhance the IT team's understanding of compliance policies and foster a culture of awareness.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams, legal departments, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a unified and comprehensive approach to IT compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential IT compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the deployment and functionality of IT monitoring systems to proactively detect and prevent any violations.
• Generate accurate and timely reports on IT compliance activities, providing insights to key stakeholders within the bank.
• Advocate and ensure the adherence to ethical practices within the IT
• department, promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of the bank's overall IT compliance program.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in IT compliance, preferably within the banking sector.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
• Profound knowledge of IT compliance frameworks, banking regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
